After we receive your request we will then contact ACC and invite them to join the mediation process.

The mediator will then create an outcome agreement.

ACC Reviews and Mediation

More about our review and mediation services for ACC decisions.

Step 1. Starting the process

To initiate the process, you can choose to either contact ICRA by phone, email or by completing our online application form down below.

Step 2. Discuss with a case manager

When we receive your application, we will contact ACC to request for your file and ask if ACC is agreeable to the mediation request. We will let you know the next steps following our discussion with ACC. You can share your details, ask questions and find out more on what to expect during this process.

Step 3. Discuss with your assigned mediator

Once we find a suitable mediator for you, an arrangement will be made to discuss the mediation process and any expected outcomes. This ensures that the applicant, respondent, and mediator are all prepared, allowing for a productive session

Step 4. The start of mediation

After the mediator has accepted your case, we will contact you and ACC to join the mediation process. Everyone involved meets with the mediator to explore resolutions

Step 5. Outcome of mediation

Your assigned mediator will then prepare a summary of any agreements reached.

If no agreement is reached after the mediation process, you can still apply for a review of ACC’s decision.
